The order goes out by WhatsApp and comes back confirmed
Pick a supplier and gramo shows you their products with how much you have left of each one and which are already below the minimum. You fill in quantities and the order goes out by WhatsApp as a link. Your supplier opens it, confirms it, and you have it on record.
Why it hurts
The WhatsApp order at eleven at night, from memory, is how half the trade works. And it works until it doesn't: the thing nobody checked runs out, the thing you already had arrives again, and when the delivery comes nobody remembers exactly what was ordered or at what price.
How gramo solves it
It tells you what's missing before you order
When you open the order you see the current stock of every product from that supplier and which ones are below minimum. No more ordering from memory and finding the gap when it's too late.
It goes by WhatsApp, which is how you already order
You don't have to teach your supplier anything new or ask them to sign up anywhere. They get a message with a link, as usual, but with the order written out and tidy instead of in a voice note.
They confirm, and you have it on record
They open the link, see the lines and confirm. The order shows as confirmed on your screen. No more 'but I told you' when half a case is missing.
With the price they charge you
Each line carries the last price you paid for that product, taken from your own invoices. So you see what the order will cost before you send it, not when the invoice arrives.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this supplier management?
- For the part that affects what you buy, yes: each supplier has their products, their prices and the history of what they've charged you, and the order goes out from there. What it doesn't do is handle contracts or payments, which belong in your accounts.
- Does my supplier have to install anything?
- Nothing. They get a link by WhatsApp, open it on their phone and confirm. No account, no password, no app to download.
- What if my supplier doesn't use WhatsApp?
- You can copy the order link and send it however you like: email, text or whatever you use. What matters is the link, not the channel.
- Where do the suggested quantities come from?
- gramo doesn't make quantities up: it shows you the stock you have of each product and which ones are below the minimum you set. You decide, but with the number in front of you.
- Does ordering take it off my stock?
- No. Stock goes up when the goods arrive and you upload the delivery note, which is when you really have them. An order is an intention, not a delivery.
